Hey everyone,

I hope everyone had a good weekend. Today I have decided to have a lazy day. I love the lazy days where me and the kids can chill on the sofa watching films. It’s definitely needed after the weekend we have had!

On Friday the kids had their last day of school, and Farley (who has a way better social life than most adults let alone children) took his grading in kickboxing. We are super proud of him because he passed with 93.5% and is now a green belt blue stripe, he’s pretty chuffed with himself too although half the kicks and things he tells me about sound like a foreign language! He has his presentation on Friday with his Christmas party, which could be fun seen as we are all invited and we’ve got to try to keep tabs on a manic 2-year-old.

Freddie has also been keeping us on our toes, he came home on Friday with chicken pox, and it’s always a bit of a panic when he catches anything because if he stops eating we have to take him to hospital. But so far so good he’s showing chicken pox who’s boss and he’s not bothered at all. Other than being covered in spots and having a slight temperature he is still running round like a headless chicken and apparently he says the spots don’t itch! But he hasn’t been scratching either, nothing amazes me anymore with that child, he just has such a tough little attitude towards everything and nothing ever phases him!

Yesterday we had a date day, one of the rare days where we don’t have any children with us. Which (although I love my children) it was very nice to have a break and spend some time just us. We went to the Birmingham Christmas markets, did a spot of ice skating, saw the coca cola lorry and we were supposed to be finding presents for each other. But as I’m sure you know finding presents for each other doesn’t happen when you have children! We got lots of last minuet presents that the kids are going to love, for ourselves, we got a both bomb and a packet of scratchings! My diet went out the window too, I decided to treat myself and get a Belgian waffle covered in what was probably a million calories of chocolate and chocolate brownie chunks, but there was a few slices of banana on it so I am justifying that it was in fact half healthy as it included fruit.

We have had such an exciting weekend on the business front too, I hit my promotion which is really exciting and my down line, my very own diamond in training also hit her promotion. Its left the whole team on a high such a brilliant thing to happen just before Christmas.

So I’m going to leave it there and go have my chilled out day, ice skating at 23 years old may not be advised as I can assure you I now ache all over! But that’s what Christmas is all about I suppose, having fun with your family and enjoying the festive period together!
