Well I always seem to say this but yet again we’ve been really busy. Saturday we were celebrating a very good friends wedding and I must say I got rather emotional! It’s the dome thing to have a good cry at the wedding, the bride looked amazing, the groom looked so happy to finally have her as his wife and everyone had a brilliant time. It’s the first dance that gets me every time and I have no idea why. But on the plus side so far this year we’ve been to more weddings than funerals so it’s all round a good first month.

Farley had his first proper fight on Sunday and came home with 2 third place trophies, he entered 2 catagories, points fighting and continuous full contact and he did extremely well in both. He surprised everyone at just how good he did 😉 Apart from now he wants to do even more!

Some people might say why would I let my child fight when he’s only 6? Why would I want to see him potentially be harmed… well for one it’s what he wants to be doing, he loves his kickboxing and secondly I am a nervous wreck when he fights at his club let alone when he fights others he doesn’t know, I suppose it’s just a fear I have to deal with and if he does get hurt (because yes it does happen) it is something we will have to deal with. I just want him to be happy and do what he wants.

Other than that it’s been back to uni for me, it was a slight disaster cross sketch show on my first proper day back. Monday was officially my first day but I was only there for an hour, but Tuesday I was there for 4 hours. Well Tuesday morning at 7.10am the taxi driver pulled up outside my house and then drove straight back off, came back 10 minuets later because he thought he was in the wrong place and got lost… that then made me late for my train that was pulling away as I arrived. So after a 20 minute wait in the freezing cold for the next one the train decided to be delayed after coming to a standstill for 15 minutes half way there. I had to laugh about this, it’s so me. It doesn’t matter how hard I try I am always late, for everything. But thankfully I did managed to sneak in the back of the lecture room so it wasn’t all eyes on me 👀. Then I find out that everyone is using apple software for the three modules this semester (think I missed that memo with the baby brain) and I’m an android girl… so I’ve now invested in an iPad 😁

The iPad isn’t as bad as I thought it would be. It’s pink so that’s a start and makes me like it better and it’s also faster than I thought it would be. When I think apple I usually think really slow, really big and having a mind of its own. But the last time I owned an apple product was my iPod touch 10 years ago 😂 so this iPad has left me feeling a bit more down with the kids and in with the technology 👌🏻

Now I happen to be rambling a bit, it’s really hard not to ramble when there’s been so much going on that I want to tell you all about 😁 but I shall leave it there and let you all get on doing what you are doing.

I will update you all on my comedy show life soon,

Kristy 💋
